Created by Trek Blue, Error Nuker may not be as well known as some of the other registry repair tools, although it does have a prolific presence on the internet and is an often searched for product. Their website is nothing that will knock you out. Very plain and matter of fact. For the price, though, one would think that the developers might have put a little more thought and effort into designing a site that would be not only attractive but a useful resource for information. But such is not the case here. It is, however, easy to navigate to the information that you wish to access.

Error Nuker, the program, on the other hand is a speedy little registry cleaner. It scanned through our test machine in just under a minute. We have another brand registry cleaner on our test machine, so Error Nuker only found 14 errors. It scans for all the essential key errors to be found in the registry while creating a backup in case you need to restore any
changes. Error Nuker box

Error Nuker is slightly different from its competitors — its main priority is safety. We thoroughly tested Error Nuker and found that the number of false positives the program found were reduced to zero. Error Nuker uses the Windows Registry Repair Algorithm (WRRA) to make sure that it doesn't remove a Windows registry key if there is a chance that it might hurt the system. One big plus of this program is that with Error Nuker you will receive free updates and customer support for the lifetime of the product. We estimate that this is most likely the reason for the premium price of this product.

Yet, it is in this same area of Help and support that Error Nuker may fall down in terms of a product that is user-friendly for the inexperienced user. There is no direct link to help documention from the program, and access to the help files is restricted to visiting the website. From the homepage, there is access to limited FAQs and email support. In fairness, though, the online help page is relatively thorough regarding how to use the program, containing screen shots along with textual instructions. The program is fairly simple to learn and straightforward, so barring any catestrophic occurrences with your machine, there may be no additional need for further support than what is offered.

In terms of extra program features, Error Nuker, again, lags behind its main competitors. It does have a Startup Program Manager as well as the ability to allow the user to customize certain options. But beyond this, Error Nuker lacks any additional features that may optimize your system. Instead, the company put its focus on the ability of the program to maintain your operating system through regular updates to program improvements.

While one of Error Nuker's main concerns is with safety and in not flagging for elimination any necessary file in the registry, it is in this same area of safety that it may not be living up to its purpose. One key feature that is lacking in the program is a severity ranking for the errors it finds. Without this feature, it will be difficult for a novice user to make an informed decision about which errors to fix and which to delete.

Overall, Error Nuker does a more than adequate job performing a scan of the registry and dividing the detected errors into categories, like all the other registry repair tools do. The safety features built into this program's search algorithms should not be under evaluated. Deleting the wrong entries from the registry can easily cripple your machine. The trade off for the premium price that one pays for this program and the ability to receive additional program updates at no addtional cost is in the lack of a few extra features to build in added value for the user.

Yet a quick scan of the companies providing registry cleaners in today's market reveals that many if not most do not provide free updating of their program's improvements. So this fact should also be taken into consideration when you evaluate which program you wish to purchase.
